What if somebody else causes an accident?

SOC Accident Management Services provide you with professional help when you need it most.

Even with comprehensive motor insurance you can still be left with a number of unforseen expenses following a motor accident, even if you were not to blame.

SOC Accident Management Services assist you to seek compensation through our panel of specialist solicitors for any uninsured losses which you may have incurred.

All your solicitors costs will normally be met by the insurance company of the negligent driver.

Uninsured losses could include:

  • A policy excess that you have paid
  • Loss of earnings
  • Motorbike repair (if third party cover)
  • Replacement motorbike charges
  • Medical fees
  • Loss of use
  • Damage to personal items
  • Compensation for injury
  • Replacement leather charges
  • Replacement helmet charges

If someone else was to blame for the accident and there are reasonable prospects of recovery, it is possible to claim for uninsured losses from the party at fault.

It is no longer necessary to wait for an insurance claim to be settled before you are back on the road following an accident.

Why should you be inconvenienced?

SOC Accident Management Services will always attempt to arrange a replacement hire vehicle, delivered to a convenient location anywhere on mainland U.K.

The cost of the motorbike hire should be recovered on your behalf from the other driver or their insurer. The replacement motorbike and the hire period will be at the discretion of SOC Accident Management Services.

As insurance premiums soar, more drivers are insuring on a third party basis. But with the advantage of lower premiums comes the potential disadvantage of meeting repair costs if the driver is involved in an accident.

This does not have to be the case. Through a network of appointed repairers, SOC Accident Management Services can eliminate some of the delays and problems associated with this responsibility.

If you were involved in an accident which is clearly not your fault, arrangements can be made to inspect your motorbike without delay.

The reasonable cost of repairing your vehicle should be recoverable from the negligent party or their insurers.

What if I cause an accident?

SOC Accident Management Services will help direct you through to your own insurers. This will ensure that you are assisted from the initial reporting to the conclusion of your claim.

You may be entitled to a courtesy motorbike from your insurer, when involved in an accident that is deemed your fault.

For any form of assistance and guidance whenever you have had an accident, call our helpline.
